Every five years, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) undertakes the Australian Census – one of the largest and most important statistic collections undertaken by the ABS. The data is used to provide accurate information which allows governments to make decisions and inform policy. The next Census will be held in 2021 however, just last month, the ABS conducted its Census Test night. Since the introduction of the eCensus in 2011, testing of the online data collection process is essential. Read our case study ‘Making Sense of Australia’ here and our other case studies on the ABS here.
