7-Eleven and Simply Cups team up to introduce new recycling initiatives

Many cafes and restaurants are introducing initiatives to reduce their environmental impact. Convenience store chain, 7-Eleven has teamed up with Simply Cups recently to introduce recycling stations instore for plastic straws. In addition, the world’s first reusable coffee cup made out of takeaway coffee cups is now available for purchase from 7-Eleven stores. Earlier in the year, the partners launched a recycling initiative which aimed to rescue takeaway cups from landfill and instead turning them into car park bumpers, hospital trays and other products.
