EXTENSION ACTIVITIES
1. Research project on the history of the NZ dairy industry. Focus on the changes in the number of dairy cows, total $ turnover, contribution to the economy, land used for dairy farms, etc and compare to other primary industries over time. A map of NZ may help to show changes. Write an essay explaining these changes, justify why they have occurred and what you think the future holds.
