Australia Post Learning Activities 2006

QUESTIONS & ACTIVITIES

1. Explain the terms end-to-end supply chain and third party logistics. Identify the range of activities involved in these processes.

EXTENSION ACTIVITIES

1. An Australian clothing company with a factory in Beijing is interested in using a third party logistics solution. It sells its goods to retail outlets in cities and small country towns all over Australia. Individual customers can also order clothes online and send them back if they aren't right. The company wants both retail and individual customers to always be fully aware of where their order is and does not want to have to deal with any paperwork.

Write a business proposal outlining what Australia Post can do for this company.
