The NSW Government recently put a stop to non-essential construction across Greater Sydney in response to the current COVID outbreak. Employing around 200,000 people directly, the industry has warned of dire impacts if the shutdown is extended. Some restrictions have now eased in NSW in regards to construction however this has a flow-on effect to subsidiary businesses such as Coates Hire.
