Time to ‘Tune In’

October is Mental Health MonthMental Health Month across Australia and this year’s theme is ‘Tune In’.  With the current health crisis across the globe, ‘Tuning In’ is more important than ever. To do this, it’s important to find time to keep calm and present and take a moment to tune in to your senses as well as tuning in to communities around you. How can you get involved in various events and activities and how can you help others get involved? Read our case study, Reach for a Brighter Future to hear how this entrepreneurial organisation is supporting young people in crisis.

Delays on domestic deliveries

In addition to international supply chains being impacted by the pandemic, on the domestic front Australians have been experiencing incredible delays as a result of COVID-19. Australia Post reported that, on any given day they have 500 team members isolating due to COVID-19. This, combined with a surge in deliveries due to lockdowns occurring across the country, has led to extensive wait periods for postal items. Read our case studies on Australia Post here which address the use of paper in a digital world and building logistics of a nation.

CEDA (Committee for Economic Development of Australia) has developed a series of articles on the topic here. You can read about how these relate to our Woodside case study about globalisation and the challenges of operating in Australia and internationally.
